Once a disciple of the dark witch, Royaru, Aurum has fled her teachings and turned to serve Alcania instead. He is quiet and shy, and gets flustered easily when shown attention or praise.

Saved by Oculus, when he found Aurum passed out during one of his missions, Aurum has since looked up to him and is always working hard to learn his battle skills and techniques.
He is still seen as an outcast by many but his discipline, good behaviour and amazing results keep any bullies away. Neon, his best friend, always involves him in everything and keeps him included. He also helps keep the rest of the bullies away.
