he ran away from home when he was 15 because nobody would show him how to bring his pet rat back to life, appearently necromancy isnt pure enough for the 'chosen child', he was tired of being treated differently from the other kids, he was tired of being 'pure' and 'innocent'. he now hides the mark of the chosen with his hair whenever he can, back home he wasnt allowed to even have hair on his head because 'the mark must show' but now he can have all the hair he wants, and all the revived pets he wants, and he is treated like a person.
