BASIC STORY & INFO:
-Zettai was born in the city of Babylon as Mithra Kagayaku. He lived a pretty normal life, with his musical interests being influenced by his parents Forte and Cadence, who were always really into music, but didn't play any instruments professionally. One day when he was 8 years old, he discovered his dad's old piano in their basement, and taught himself how to play.

-Over time, Mithra was determined to become a musical performer just like the artists he listened to through his childhood, especially his favorite musical artist, Lord Axel, and started writing his own lyrics. Unfortunately, Babylon wasn't the ideal place to learn about music, but Mithra heard that there was a great school of musical arts in the mountain city of Quastal, so he dropped out of his current school to travel to Quastal and study there. The city was famous for its newly blossoming technology not available to the rest of the world, so the music school had various electronic instruments for students to use. Mithra immediately noticed a new instrument called a keytar that reminded him of the piano he played in the basement, and it became his favorite. He continued to write music throughout the rest of his school years, becoming very attached to synth pop, synth rock, and new wave styles.

-When he finally graduated, one of his favorite teachers introduced him to his friend who was a music producer and really loved what Mithra was creating. Together, they produced his debut album called "Sirius Synth", under the stage name "Zettai Stardust". A few months after the album's release, Zettai performed on his "Serious Synth World Tour", demonstrating his musical abilities and the power of Quastal's technology. Most of his outfits were even inspired by space and the stars due to Quastal's own mass interest in those subjects. For the tour, Zettai's manager had a custom keytar created for him, which Zettai named "Synesthesia", and it's been his trademark keytar ever since.

NAME ORIGINS:
-"Zettai" is the Japanese word for "absolute", which loosely references one of my favorite songs, "Dreams of an Absolution" from Sonic '06. As a partial David Bowie tribute character, I went with the name Zettai as a complement to one of Bowie's most famous personas, Ziggy Stardust, which is where the second half of his stage name comes from.
-His real name, Mithra Kagayaku, is a combination of one of my favorite demons from the Persona series, which in turn is the name of an ancient Iranian god, plus "Kagayaku" which means "to shine, to sparkle" in Japanese, referencing his star and sparkle theme. "Mithra" is also part of "Sen-Mithrarin", a title given to the main character of the game Dust: An Elysian Tail.

RANDOM FACTS:
-Zettai is kind of a meta-character; he shares lore and backstory with the same world as most of my OCs and exists in that world, but he also exists as an alternate fursona of mine that references and was inspired by some of my favorite real world extravagant musical artists, such as Lady Gaga, David Bowie, Adam Lambert, and Prince.
-I gave him a keytar because the piano is my favorite instrument, but I didn't want him to just be sitting at one all the time, so I was inspired by Gaga's use of the keytar at many of her tours, especially at the original Monster Ball Tour.
-The outfit in the ref is his most famously known outfit, but he also wears several other eccentric outfits depending on the song/performance.
-His hair is actually naturally brown; he dyes it bright turquoise the most commonly, but also sometimes dyes it other colors to suit his mood and/or outfit.
-The marking underneath his eye when he performs is painted on, which typically appears as a lightning bolt. Like his outfit, this marking also changes from time to time.
-The name of his first world tour, "Serious Synth World Tour", is a parody of David Bowie's tour supporting his album "Let's Dance", called the "Serious Moonlight Tour".
-He sleeps for most of the day because he's nocturnal, so he is really only active at night, which is when he works on his music and performs his live shows.
