Summary
A mostly-blind cat born and raised deep below the surface, Suterra has never seen the world above with their own eyes, felt the wind in their fur or the warmth of the sun. But they've heard stories of the surface, ever since they were a kitten - Stories of a canvas far above, painted with lights like the specks in their eyes. And after years of hearing those tales, Suterra decided: They would form a guild, the greatest in all of Catalena, made of cats skilled and strong and who also sought the world above, and together, they would carve a path through the beasts and see that sky with their own eyes.
Though they are perhaps not the most confident in their abilities, with fears that their poor vision might hold them back, Suterra believes in the dream they have. And with their magical powers, adaptability, and sheer determination, they won't give up without a fight!
As revealed during the events of Story and Song Chapter 12 - La Telanovela, when Suterra reaches the surface years after forming their guild, they find what little vision they had to begin with has deteriorated to the point where they can't see the sky, something they'd so desperately wanted for so long, leaving them utterly broken and full of despair. Though they're happy for their guildmates who do find what they sought on the surface and even find a new path of their own in the form of music (following through on the second half of their guild's name in the process), they never quite entirely move past what they see as their greatest failure and the loss of the goal that kept them pushing forward so long.

- Suterra's name is a corruption of Steorra, the god guarding the Starseer job in Octopath Traveler.
- Suterra's blindness and starry, deep blue eyes were made to resemble Zeus, the blind western screech owl from the Wildlife Learning Center in Los Angeles.
