✨ Neldur Cheren

Always canon: Drow with dark skin, short white hair, and yellow-to-amber eyes. Adopted and raised by a surface elf father after his mother died. Charismatic and dual-wields swords. Good at persuasion, but leans towards diplomatic resolutions. Gay. Transmasc with top surgery and testosterone.

Personality: Eager, playful, determined, bright, kind, charming. Wants to help the good in the world, but doesn't always care for the law.

Clothing: Light or medium armor. His preference is practical and not too fancy. Casual clothing is either something super casual but durable or something nice but not fancy.

Current canon: NWN2 backstory; Kalach-Cha and Knight-Captain of Neverwinter; BG3 canon and fell in love with Wyll Ravengard. Dates for NWN2 may be fudged +100yr (1474 DR) so that he remains young and Bevil still lives (since it officially takes place about 120 years before BG3). After NWN2 main campaign, returned to work for Neverwinter (instead of MotB campaign) before being scooped up by the Nautiloid.

BG3, 1492 DR: Bard 10, Ranger 2., plays the lute. Slept with Astarion early on, slowly pursued Gale, then fell in love with Wyll. Persuaded his companions to be the kindest they could be.

NWN2, 1374 DR: Neldur grew up learning to farm and hunt with no known family except for his mother, who passed when he was young (1359 DR). Raised by Daeghun Farlong in West Harbor in the Mere of Dead Men, but an attack in 1374 DR caused him to leave the village for Neverwinter, where his uncle, Duncan Farlong, runs The Sunken Flagon. He took up adventuring, traveling across the Sword Coast in search of answers, before finding that he had a shard of the Silver Sword of Gith embedded in his chest.

His brothers, Naristune (mage, eldest) and Nefis (rogue, middle), eventually met up with him on the surface, not knowing they had a third brother (who, by drow standards, should have been sacrificed as the third living son). They are both chaotic neutral. They get along with him alright most of the time through conscious effort. 

Best friends with canon characters Bevil Starling, Neeshka, Khelgar Ironfist, Sand, and Sir Nevalle; and OCs Drudoc Clibetyad (deep gnome, ranger), Alav Amraphender (water genasi, sorcerer), and Lamin Kelter (yuan-ti pureblood, cleric; lover). Mourns his and Bevil's close friend Amie Fern.

Neverwinter Online: Farmer from the Moonshae Isles, adopted by an elf after his mother passed. Left due to wanderlust in search of adventure.
