Wen Xia

Xia is a magical girl, as per PMMM! I'm happy to use her in other settings, though, as long as the abilities of magical girls work in vaguely similar ways, and I'm happy for you to do the same too! In non-PMMM versions of my characters' universes, she is still a magical girl, and still has similar consequences to her decision, but Kyubey and so on do not exist.

Xia is from Hong Kong. Her mother is from Beijing, and her mother's father was from Japan, and he in turn was half-Chinese. I'm not going to go into explaining the history of this side of the family. The important thing is that this gives a tie for anyone who wants to RP with her in Japanese settings.

She's meant to be very unique - she's a magical girl who isn't from the US or Japan. Or, I guess, Paris, now. 

She has the ability to create forcefields and is absolutely brutal at using them, being my most brutal character in a fight. Forcefields are not only a fantastic defensive ability, but an amazing offensive one, if you learn how to properly aim and control your forcefields. She also has a weapon in the use of warfans, which, similarly, look very defensive, but can be used as an amazing weapon if you want to. 

Xia likes watersports and cooking and she is straight up bad at most academic subjects (although she's very good at human anatomy, thanks to how she uses her powers). 

Weird little thing that ONLY applies to Xia: In east Asia, it's generally seen that really pale skin is really attractive, and it's not seen as a white-washy thing. This is why everyone in anime looks white. This means that ON OCCASION I am okay with Xia being drawn without colouring her skin (without it just being because you're focusing on clothes like in the thumbnail picture). If this is done, DO NOT colour her as white skinned, just leave her uncoloured. Just because it's a cultural thing to portray women as very pale does not make her white.
