A few years ago, her family, a distant branch of the Clefs, attempted to resurrect their previous wealth and become the head family. However, all of the adults involved in the family business were found to be conspiring in a huge embezzlement case. They promptly fled. Miki and her older sisters changed their last name to their mother's and went to live at the Clef main estate.

Miki plays the violin and guitar, sometimes accompanying her cousin, Waltz in performances. She is considered a prodigy when it comes to the violin, though she enjoys putting her own flair on pieces.

Due to her helpfulness, most people tend to use Miki as their gopher. To top it off, she doesn't complain and loves an excuse to be moving around. She is unaware of people using her

Miki loathes being trapped inside, being very much an outdoors type. She would spend her entire life outside if she could. Aside from going out with friends, Miki enjoys solitary walks in the woods. The terrain is a great challenge, plus the woods are usually teeming with insects. Her favorite pastime is catching them and studying them. She keeps a small notebook where she writes her observations. Later on, she'll compare the notes to the books she has at home

The one thing Miki will happily stay inside for is tea time. She loves the dainty food, the yummy treats, and of course, the tea. Miki is an avid fan of tea, prefering it over most drinks
