Overview: Tanaka's name is known and honored in many ways, in life and in death. Originally a revolutionary, Tanaka died tragically young after leading a rebellion against the ruling lord in his region of Japan, slaughtered in battle by several soldiers after being pinned down by several dozen arrows. Though noble and selfless, Tanaka's anger and sense of pride ultimately kept him from ever going to heaven, being turned into a Tengu instead. Lost and adrift, Tanaka spent years watching the lives of those he swore to protect crumble underneath the lord, gazing helplessly as his village fell to nothing. He drifted to the seas after, harboring himself a number of tales of him aiding sailors through putting wind through their sails, as well as sinking ships in an instant through hurricanes he caused. During his period of drifting, Tanaka amassed many slaying of other beasts to his name, being rumored to be able to cut a Daidarabotchi in half with a single swing of his holy sword. His powerful wings proved able to let him migrate across entire oceans without rest, eventually settling down as a restaurant aide to a friend of his.
Personality: Tanaka's cold and stiff demeanor is off-putting to many, but there is some snark left in him, don't worry. He's an extremely prideful individual and loves it when people relish in stories about him. Likes to toy with people and can be pretty rude when he first meets people, but longer acquaintances are more used to seeing him be a more quiet and caring person as he was when he was alive. Doesn't like how youthful he looks still, since his looks were basically locked in the moment he died, but his personality matches how he was at that age well. Easy to anger if you insult him (or fluster if you're that sorta guy). Feels like his glory days are behind him,
