Paprika grew up in one of the githzerai monestaries in Limbo, leading what she thought was a happy life, until she ended up traveling to the material plane. At first she was confused and fascinated, but shy. That changed when she was treated to a meal by a stranger, which was more flavourful than anything she'd ever had in Limbo. She realized that life in the material plane was so much more interesting and lively, and decided to move there, dedicating her life to being a chef. She also learned how to harness her abilities in combination with her cooking, turning her into an artificer.
