Nie is a college student attending a local community college in his home town with his best friend Nikko
Nie is pretty serious personality wise and believes in logic over anything else, but his world has been turned upsidedown. Strange things are happening around him and he cant find any logical answer to them. He's losing sleep and actively feeling like he's totally out of his mind. Nie can sometimes see monsters walking around the world and is slowly gaining a craving for human blood and flesh. He cant explain either of these two things and doesnt understand why either is occuring to him (he isnt a vampire). He just knows they're happening and he cant figure out how to stop any of it.
Born human but unknown to those around him, awoke to a supernatural power following being attacked by a dog as a child. The past few years he's started craving human blood for unknown reasons as a side effect of that power. He can drink human blood to quickly recover from injuries (cant drink his own), the more injured he is the more likely he loses all rational thinking and tries to eat someone. But even if he's uninjured he still craves human blood as it's gotten much worse over the few years he's had this problem. His main power/ability injures his hands every time he uses it (leaving scars), so in turn this makes him want to drink blood even more. (Injury = increase in craving)
Of course, this can quickly spiral out of control. The urge to attack someone and drink their blood/eat their flesh can become extremely strong. He hates this and tries to avoid attacking anyone but has failed to keep control over himself multiple times. He's killed people before and injured others.
It should be noted he isnt technically a vampire, he's human- mostly. So vampire logic doesnt really apply to him: he can eat normal human food, but human flesh and blood has gradually become way tastier than normal food to him. To his knowledge he doesnt need to drink blood to survive, but, simularly to vampires, the longer he goes without the stronger the craving can be/the worse the injury the more likely he attacks someone.
Best friends with Nikko. They clash a bit personality wise. Nie has kept his powers a secret because he fears Nikko's reaction to knowing he's killed people and eaten chunks of their bodies.
(However- you can draw Nikko walking in on Nie or situations where he discovers Nie's secret! all that stuff is sick!)
Nie and Niko have been close friends since elementary school, where they met in 4th grade
He hates dogs because of a prior experience, they make him uneasy. He loves cats though.
Design notes
His hands can have some scars on them, no scars or have gloves on them (to hide scarring).
This is dependant on how much he has regenerated by drinking blood or eating flesh (only a little bit is needed to fully heal his hands but he tends to refuse to do it and may have scars on his hands as a result).
