Kotone Fujita

 Kotone is quite cold and distant, rarely going out of her way to talk to people or make friends. She's very easily provoked to anger, though she does try her best to keep a level head. She pushes people away intensely and while she isn't reclusive per se she has no friends, at least none that she considers friends.

In the past she was a rebellious and fun-loving girl, her best friend being Salmon whom she'd have knife fights with. She was very energetic back in the day, and used to be one of the more popular people in the village. Too bad that's the past and not 

Kotone had a fairly normal life for a rebellious girl in a village who knife fights, until she realized her big sister, who was her lawful caretaker and mayor had been doing to those who tried to leave the place. After that she closed herself off from her friends and trained herself to be stoic and not care for them lest Hanae tried to go further with her brutal behavior.

Trivia:
- Kotone can manipulate shadows. It is mostly a combat-oriented power but instead she tends to use it for menial things. It causes her to be mildly photophobic, and, if she overexerts herself and her magic, it makes her really sick and cough up a watery black substance. She's strongest on new moons and in dark rooms as her influence over the shadows grows in darkness. The source of the magic she manipulates must come from a stable shadow or dark area. If a shadow gets cut off while she's using it, the ability will be cancelled.

- Kotone's jacket, flower, and choker were all gifts from Salmon. She actually really misses him, but would never admit it.


- The quickest way to provoke her is to call her "Koto". That nickname is reserved for Salmon only. The second way is to insinuate that she still cares for anyone she used to associate her with, and/or to compare her to her sisters. Those will all get you punched or worse.
