Legends say that the God of Luck was a dangerously mischievious spirit, one that even tricked the Lord himself. To pay for his sin, the God had his powers stripped away, split into nine magical tails that glowed with a majestic gold. Some say that it's the power of the tails that give cats their nine lives, and that should something gravely injure the punished God, he could use one to save himself, at the cost of losing it forever and weakening. It's also said that if you manage to catch the creature, you can cut off a tail to keep for yourself, and have luck always on your side. But surely such a rumour can't be true, and the God of Luck can't be a spoiled snob? Right?
Roku is small and pale, strikingly young looking despite being centuries old. He has nine golden tails that feel like silk to the touch. His ears are pointed, though he has a secondary, more animal like, set on top of his head. They are the same colour as his tails, with soft poms inside. He has deep red markings all along his body and ears, two sharp streaks on his cheeks. His teeth are pointed lightly.
