button is a catgirl whose nekomimi parts are made out of stuffed plush!
she's autistic, and though she's legally an adult, she doesn't communicate through speech very well! she can only talk in a baby voice and say a few simple words and phrases, but she is loving and expressive!
the best way for her to communicate is through writing! her spelling isn't great and she will only write on her giant sketchpads with crayons, but she is by no means "dumb!"
button is extra sensitive to sound and smell, and has a very low threshold for tolerance. she gets sent into meltdowns very easily, but is calmed by hugging her stuffed tail and/or her caregiver. cartoons are also a very good way to get her to relax, and she loves Monster High and My Little Pony!
she picks out her outfits herself and can get dressed on her own! she gravitates towards soft, non-scratchy fabrics and pastel colors, as they're easier on her skin and eyes!
she doesn't understand boundaries very well, and will try to love and hug on anyone she meets, but she doesn't mean any harm. she is hyperempathetic and just wants to share her happiness with everyone!
