Apostolos started out as a thief early in life, and he enjoyed his work alongside his mother. He was quiet, sneaky, but quick to anger. Not having had a much of a moral compass growing up, he wasn't opposed to getting his hands dirty running cons with his mother or stealing from whoever crossed his path. He found a lot of joy in that life for a while until his mother died and he grew lonely and felt unfulfilled. It wasn't until he robbed Hawkins and was caught that he started to change for the better. In the course of a year serving time to repay his debt to Hawkins, he went from a boy without any proper raising to a hard-working young man. He stayed on board even after his time was up when he was offered a job, even though he knew he'd still mostly be doing odds and ends kind of work. Still, he does his work with purpose and pride. He's proud of his work, his place on the crew, and his skill in card and coin tricks that wow the rest of the crew.
