Profile
Kit-Name: Foxkit
Apprentice-Name: Foxpaw
Warrior-Name: Foxfrost
Gender: Male
Clan: ThunderClan
Family:
His father is the leader of ThunderClan. His mother is a good hunter and very loved in the Clan, because of her kindness and her ability to settle disputes quickly.
Foxfrost was their first and only kit. They don’t plan to have kits again though, because his mother nearly died by giving birth to him. This is also the reason why Foxfrost is really precious to them and they always want him to be happy and successful.
Backstory:
In the night before Foxfrost was born, the medicine cat of ThunderClan got a prophecy containing a fox. It is known in all Clans, that the ThunderClan medicine cat isn’t really good at interpreting the signs of StarClan. Which is why she wanted to think more about her dream first before telling her leader about it.
Though after her leaders kit was born and his mother gave him the name Foxkit she new what it had to mean. Or at least she thought so.
So the day after Foxkit was born the medicine cat got to the leader and told him, that his kit would be a special and intelligent kit and that the prophecy meant it would save the Clan as the next medicine cat in the future. The leader was really excited about it, he just knew his kit was special and he didn't thought twice before he completely agreed with her. His kit would be a medicine cat and will keep ThunderClan safe from every danger.
They tried to get Foxkit interested in herbs as soon as he could open his eyes. He never really seemed interested in them and he never got any dreams from StarClan but they were still holding on to that prophecy with the fox. It was no wonder for anyone in ThunderClan when Foxkit got to be a medicine apprentice but already in the first moons it was also obvious that he just wasn't meant to be one.
Foxpaw needed long to learn about the herbs and he still hasn't gotten any dreams from StarClan. The medicine cat always asked him after he woke up, if he had dreamed anything special but he just got annoyed with this question after a while. Everytime he was sent out to fetch some herbs, he came back with the wrong ones or even came back completely without any herbs. His father, mother and the medicine cat always told him, that he would become a great cat and that he had to learn as much as he could to safe his Clan in the future.
What no one knew, was that the prophecy never meant for Foxpaw to be a medicine cat or to safe ThunderClan. The prophecy actually was a warning about him maybe destroying ThunderClan.
Foxpaw didn't really believe in StarClan, or he at least didn't think that they could really help the Clans with their 'dreams' but nearly all of his training so far was learning about herbs and learning about StarClan. He got bored of it fast, because in one thing StarClan was right. He was very intelligent and he probably could learn everything about the herbs but it just wasn't interesting to him, so he didn't wanted to learn about them. Which is why he made the decision to learn something completely different himself.
In the nursery his mother always told him stories about a stoat who could speak with the Clan cats many years in the past. He was always fascinated by this story. Every time he had to go and fetch herbs, he went to the twoleg place and tried to learn the dog language. After a few moons he could already speak a few things with them and he got better everytime. The moment this wasn't a challenge for him anymore, he began to go to snake rocks, search for snakes and try to learn their language. He practiced more and more different languages and even got nearly fluent in a few of them. He never told anyone of his Clan members about his skill though and he also didn't wanted them to know.
After his medicine cat training didn't got any better and Foxpaw still had to learn things which other medicine cat apprentices usually learned in the first moon of their training his father made the decision to give his son a new mentor and let him be trained as a warrior. He still knew that Foxpaw would be something special but he also knew that their medicine cat wasn't good at interpreting StarClan signs. He still believed that his son would safe ThunderClan, just not as a medicine cat.
Foxpaws training was going much quicker after making him a normal apprentice and he turned out to be an excellent hunter like his mother. His father sometimes had the feeling his sons prey was just running into his paws without knowing what was happening to them.
Foxpaw passed his warrior assessment without any problems and soon got his warrior name Foxfrost.
Character:
Foxfrost is a very intelligent cat and can be quiet arrogant or sassy about it. He is eager to learn new things if he is interested in them.
He doesn't believe in StarClan at all. Or if there is a StarClan he doesn't think it is superior to the cats who are still living. So he doesn't care about this 'Clan' of dead cats that much. In the end, if he was really such a special cat why would StarClan never speak to him, not even at the moonstone?
He also isn't really empathically. If someone has died in his Clan he just doesn't really care and also isn't good in dealing with mourning cats. He always has to suppress to roll with his eyes every time someone says "They are safe in StarClan now" or some foolish things like that.
Foxfrost isn't really fond of his father but his mother is the only cat at the moment he really feels close to and he still sometimes asks if she could tell him the story about the stoat, who talked the cat language.
Other Infos:
Foxfrost can speak with many different animals: dogs, snakes, foxes and also a little bit with badgers and stoats. Though he isn't really good at speaking with badgers and stoats yet. He even learned how he could lure his prey to come to him without fear, this sometimes worked but it sometimes also doesn't.
He is one of the best hunters in ThunderClan and this isn't just because of his ability to lure his prey to him but also because of his good sneaking skills.
He has a really low and attractive voice and also moves in a really elegant way, which is why a lot of she-cats in his Clan hope to be his future mate. He isn't really interested in them though, no one of them could keep up with his intellect yet.
His voice also helps him a lot at dealing with the animals he speaks with. Some of these animals even consider him as a friend.
He doesn't really care about any cat except his mother and he also wouldn't have a problem with killing one of the other Clan cats in a battle. His foolish father wouldn't banish him from ThunderClan anyways because of the prophecy and his mother loved him to much to see his evil sides.
Even with his beginning of a medicine cat apprenticeship he doesn't really remember many of the herbs and their uses anymore.
