The young prince of the Light Kingdom. Though he has not been coronated, he does most of the king's duties as proxy for his father, who is still so stricken by grief from the loss of his wife due to a curse upon the royal bloodline. He is well respected by the citizens, as his lack of an official title makes him less separated from them, and he has an intense devotion to the good of the people. Sharing his love for art and music, the Light Kingdom has grown far more vibrant from his influences.
Personality
Áden is a gentleman, a regular prince charming. He can be quite theatrical, but most of all he tries to uphold chivalry and kindness. He's a sweet man, he tries to be caring, but formal at all times. Áden is a bit arrogant, though he tries not to be rude.
However, something about the way he presents is very stilted. It’s a persona, created due to his status as a public figure. Underneath the chivalrous charm, he doesn’t know who he is, leaving him feeling hollow when the persona of a charming prince falls through.
He's strong willed, and will stand by his values, no matter what. He doesn't back down or crack under pressure. Some may call him stubborn in this aspect, seeing it as a departure from his polite demeanor, though he just thinks of it as conviction.

Violet Snowdin
[ Sibling-Like ] The two have known each other since childhood, Áden having been friends with Violet since her days as a street urchin, before she was kidnapped to be made into another kingdom's princess. Every time she escapes the palace, she returns home to see him without fail. They consider themselves close as siblings. Violet is fond of teasing him.
Lyra Bloodstone
[ Friends, Surprisingly ] She may be the daughter and henchperson of a god of mass destruction, and she may have been involved in a plot to kidnap him for ransom, but she also helped him escape said kidnapping, so she's alright in his book. Áden tries to see the good in everyone, and Lyra is deeply apologetic.
Mira Lazuli
[ Allied ] While the city at the center of the world has no technical leader, Mira acts as it, being the director of it's most important landmark, the Library of the Arcane. Thus, the two of them have allied the kingdom and the city.
Theodore S. Doe
[ :/ ] There are some people who Áden cannot see good in. Theodore being a paramount example. The god of mass destruction sought to sow chaos by kidnapping the prince, then demanding a magical artifact, under the king's protection, as his ransom. Needless to say, Áden is unsettled by Theodore's presence.
