Hyun is a skilled member of the SV Mercenary group. He is a master of light magic to the point where he must release it or it will manifest otherwise, this is usually in the form of golden saliva or tears. The fur on his outfit is detachable, and he only really wears it to stand out at big gatherings.
It was thought that his egg came from a tear that Lightweaver shed upon witnessing a tragedy. His egg was raised by light clerics until he hatched, light magic spewing and bubbling from his egg. This terrified the clerics and the townspeople, this child was much too volatile. He was sealed and placed deep underground at the bottom of a dry well, not deep enough to keep him from hearing the dragons living above, but not shallow enough for his excessive light to spew out.
Hyun does not need to eat, his time spent in the well sealed away made it unnecessary. He was able to pick up speech by listening to the dragons above, his magic powerful enough to let him peer outside by sending soft waves of magic out to scout his surroundings. If he didn't expell the magic, he would drown in it.
When the town planned to get him purged, they would never see it coming when the mercenary in charge of slaying him would instead hug him and take him with him alive.
Hyun owes his life to Titus, and has a a lot of respect for him. For a long time Hyun could not stop spewing his magic and Titus had a mask specially made to keep his magic from spewing. The mask was later discarded when Hyun did enough work that he could burn through his magic quickly enough.
