He ran into Daud just after Daud had killed his father with his letter opener in order to frame him. He was surprisingly uncaring about his father's death, but knew that he'd rather not go to jail, so he struck a deal with Daud to let him into the Whalers and make it look like he fled the country. He's a surprisingly cold and brutal assassin, and is one of the Whalers with the least amount qualms with killing people.
