Primrose was cursed by a witch and vanished to a lost forest where she is stuck forever. The curse is broken when she finds the exit.
As princess she was a target by many witches who have bounties and whoever curses the princess gets a large cut.
Pre-curse, she was smart and rebellious. She studied fauna to escape royal duties. However, she liked the feeling of being superior to townsfolk.

Along with being cursed to the lost forest, the witches cursed her to transform into a large were-beast; half wolf half pig, at night.
People who see her from the edge of the forest started calling her Bludy Red because of her blood red fur.
