Saved by Amondi when he was a child of about nine years, she gave him the African name Sanga in hopes that all his journies would be positive after their parting... except they never parted. Sanga determined that meeting Amondi was fate, and that she was to be his once he was old enough... but he's having a hard time convincing her of that.
Sanga truly adores Amondi, and the age gap really doesn't occur to him. They're both relatively immortal, so even if their appearances naturally age over time, it's just a matter of regenerating themselves... though he thinks Amondi's current age is very becoming on her. He knows that she mostly "puts up with" his advances, but doesn't let that deter him; faint heart never won fair maiden, right?
