Shoshana

Her father was a New Blood, a feral Hippogryph that was given a Blessing by one of the Progenitors; this is a very rare occurance, and only thr Royal family is aware of where Eliana's parents are, and their identities.  The line of Mulan, the progenitor of Corinth, died out decades before; with the choice of Eliana's father as a companion and later a husband, Eliana is the only offspring between the two and thus the only Daughter of Morning, the youngest female of the line.  Sarah and Hannah are sisters to each other, but not blood related to Eliana.  After bringing them home, very little time passed before they disappeared.  Only Empress Wanmei, Emperor Luinian, and the Crown Princess — currently Mei-Endian — are privvy to their whereabouts.

Before Kajika and Samara begin gathering the Daughters of Morning to quell the Rebellion, Eliana had never even considered travelling away from home.  She is a very timid, simple person who enjoys standing in as a mother for her sisters.  Convincing her to leave was up to Sarah and Hannah, as she never would have budged otherwise.  Enlai automatically became her charge in the rescue mission since they were from the same country, but she has a hard time letting him near her.  Enlai is both very playful and very strong... two things that intimidate Eliana and put her on edge.  She still accepts the job when the Empress asks that she stay on as his personal Guard after the Rebellion, as it would allow Sarah to enter the top academy in the capital, and would allow Hannah to apprentice with a true master jeweller.

Eliana hates fighting, so her weapon of choice is the Third Eye she was birthed with, which can causes hallucinations, create illusions, and put others to sleep.  Despite her gentle nature, she is still very skilled with using neurotoxins and illusions in traps; the skill was developed for hunting, but serves her well for protecting what needs to be protected.  She becomes tentative friends with Kajika over her use of poisons as he also has a great interest in medicine.
