nettle - it/its, they/them, she/her (no preference, feminine language) - nonbinary trans woman
nettle was a simple shepherd and green witch before it did the spellhound ritual. she lived in a small village known for herding goats and sheep. nettle was born and raised there, under the wing of their mother, who was also a green witch. when its mother passed, nettle was lost and devoted all of its time to its herd. her herd kept getting sick, killed in the night, and severely injured while in the field. nettle, distressed by the loss of their mother and the dwindling of their herd, completed the spellhound ritual in order to see if she could better protect her herd. fortunately, it did for quite a while, but one day her sheep started to wither away once more. it was too much for nettle, who eventually gave up trying to save their sheep and left their home village.
after leaving the village, nettle moved to a more urban area. she was overwhelmed at first, as she had never left her home village and the city was too much for her sensory problems, but eventually started settling in. it takes odd jobs here and there, and sells potions and plants online. it's not too good with technology, still, but gets by on its old blackberry curve and shitty laptop.
nettle isn't too great around new people, and tends to be quiet and shy even around ones she's close to. they're autistic, and have special interests in plants and sheep/sheep herding. they have a service dog, a tricolored blue merle border collie named freckles, who they adore oh so much.
