He’s kinda insane, just does what he wants, when he wants, and doesn’t stop to think about the consequences (if there are none around gold). He is very much a go-getter, and loves fighting and thrill. His favourite, quiet pass time is to see how long it takes for him to get Merlin to give him a death threat, or having Mordred for a round in the sleeping quarters.

Voski will do and has done anything to get his hands on gold. Killing is a non-thought, cheating and torture takes more time and is less likely to happen unless he is in the mood. He is the world's best pickpocket and there is no way of knowing just how he will react to the thought of gold as he is very unstable around it.

• He has 3 hidden knives, a cutlass, a mini blunderbust and a hand cannon on his person.
• He sleeps in a pile of gold and refuses to let anyone unworthy even see his collection.
• No one knows where his main stash of gold is.
• He has named several interesting pieces of gold, all of these stay with him on the ship.
• His marriage to Mordred was absolutely to get out of paying gold to the government (not that he did).
• All the gems he steals and pulls from jewellery, he sells for silver and copper. Because he refuses to hand gold over to a vendor, and can't bring himself to buy anything if he only has gold on him.

Poor and always hungry, Voski and his friends always dreamed of being a rich pirate. Travelling the high seas and with plenty of money to spare for their families. They trained, played and fought together. Never shall they part.

Their dreams never got smaller, if anything, they only got bigger with every ship to land in their little nameless town. One night when the 5 of them were almost adults, there was a very drunk two-man pirate group, with their tiny taxiing ship docked in their port.

The would-be pirates saw their chance, and they took it.

However, one of them lost their lives in their first sea battle against another pirating group. And the next battle ended with another of their crew losing the function of his legs.

They did have one lucky raid before one of their remaining trio had a lead bullet lodged in their arm, and they argeed to ampuate it. The last remaining member, was timid, with a thing for birds. He lasted an extra month, before offering a mishapen ingot of gld to Voski in exchange for his return to land. When Voski dropped him at the nearest port, the whites of his eys were gold.

So Voski travelled without any other crew for a year, before he was questioned by the military at the local pub and they asked, "Would you be willing to be watched by an officer?" It didn't make any sense. Voski only raided other pirates, he'd never even seen a military vessel. But he was lonely. Only him and his gold taking on the seas. "Sure thin'."

It was two years with Merlin, and life was already better than those times alone. But the sea was vast, and empty. And Merln had only ever argeed that one time. Voski needed a "friend" if you will, and maybe he could get Merlin to stop ranting to him about the taxes he needed to pay at the same time too.

Later that very same day the thought occured to him, Voski pinned a note outside the pub of the current town they were staying in: "SPOUSE WANTED".
