-full name is isabelle rosalina cross, but literally everyone calls her izzy.
-a feisty, loud, and stubborn young lady. will absolutely punch you in the face. seems like a troublemaker and an angry sort, but she’s just passionate and is actually quite nurturing. fiercely protective of loved ones. hesitant to trust, especially when it comes to letting new people around her family, but very supportive once you’ve earned that trust. she is also a “seer” with the ability to interact with spirits.
-bi, 21, white, agnostic/atheist
-hairdresser and makeup artist, sells cosmetics and accessories over the phone and online, and helps her mother with her business dealings, which mostly involves helping her sell her books. she could also be considered a professional seer and spends a lot of time helping people with ghost-related issues.

-slim but feminine build, small waist, noticeable bust, muscle tone in arms
-relatively average height at 5’6”, but often wears heels that make her look closer to her brother’s height of 5’9”, especially when combined with the volume of her hair.

-likes music, sports, movies, and lots of other stuff— enjoys trying new hobbies and going new places. loves fashion, hair, and makeup. she likes helping people express themselves and seeing people walk with confidence.

-lives at home to help her mother get around and doesn’t spend a lot of time in her own bedroom.
-izzy is introduced about a third of the way into the book and makes a strong first impression. she’s shown to be someone who worries about her brother a lot and immediately distrusts andrew. over time, she grows to care for him and to consider him a friend, even crying when she reads cruel emails that were sent to him. she supports the investigation throughout the book and looks after michael’s home (and andrew) when michael is away. she is the one to tell andrew the truth about michael’s past mistake.
-when she realizes that michael fell in love with andrew, izzy wants to lecture him, but instead tries to provide him with much-needed emotional support. the ordeal brings them much closer together— she and her brother had been very close growing up, but michael began to drift away from her once he began to live on his own.
