| Damien is heavily nihilistic and sees people as insignificant compared to the vastness of the world and the universe. Life inherently has no real meaning to him. It isn’t a sadness or depression but more of an anger, a jealousy and morbid curiosity towards the creatures of the Vale. Things like morals, objective truth, and values have no home in his mind when he's in that state of mind, as they’re dwarfed by the absolute scale of the Vale and cosmos. A deeper part of him is desperately trying to find that something to give his life true meaning, but he refuses to admit it to himself. Outsiders perceive him as charming and charismatic because he makes himself fun to be around by having a sense of humor, having a high level of confidence, and helping others. But it’s all a façade for his less palatable, true personality. In reality, he doesn’t care much for anyone that he doesn’t deem as useful. He finds no point in forming deeper connections with anyone new, only allowing an illusion of one to exist if he can use it to his advantage. Damien doesn’t have the magical power to come off as a threat to other nobles, so he gets them on his side instead with charm. The only genuine connections that Damien now has are with his brother, Luke, and his cousin, Derrin. Growing up, they were the only ones in his corner from the beginning, so their companionship does hold emotional weight for him. |

| SKILLS Damien is deadly with a war scythe and is fairly skilled in hand-to-hand combat. He's able to get a good read on his opponents and always lets them expose their methods first. Due to constant combat training growing up, all of these things come very naturally to him and makes him quite the foe in battle. Damien is also very charismatic and can easily hide what he's actually feeling. He'll pretend to be whoever you want him to be if it means that he'll get what he desires. HOBBIES Damien loves to play the violin and has been playing it since he was 9. He would often duet with his former fiancé, who played the piano, and would also play for formal occasions. Cooking is also a specialty, and he can easily make many traditional Cuevo dishes. Be careful if you're an enemy though because he may or may not poison you. Another thing that interests him is miniature models. He has quite a few models of ships in his room that he put together himself.
