History
Born in Lishal, Vestigoud and the United Western Coalition, on the 12th of October, Olivia was the creative daughter of two owners of the '60s themed retro diner called the 'Swinging Sweetness', working in positions that meant holidays outside of the country would be extremely difficult at the best of times. This lack of movement grew to Olivia developing a love of exploring what she could, her school years enforcing this with a number of inspirational art teachers and out-of-school magic activities. When she was still in the education system, at 14, took up a job as a waitress at her family's diner outside of school hours, while her hobby of painting melded itself with runes and symbols she was learning about. Eventually at 18, she had released her first professional piece of art, while it was a simple landscape, it used basic eyecatcher runes for it's results, starting the mixing of both her art with magic and making more paintings, selling plenty of them for a more then nice amount of money, eventually landing her 20-year-old-self a nicely sizable apartment with an art studio as she grew bolder and bolder, incorporating different runes and themes within her art, sending money to her parents when she could to help.
And so, we get to how lost her leg, at a point of time she had a fascination with 'Portal Art', a cute idea inspired by an old video game, art you could literally walk into and experience the landscape, how bad could it be, right... right...? Well... Let's say portals work both way and a very aggressive crocodile from [Savanah Weald] rushed into her home, biting and tearing at her leg as she screamed in pain and terror, by the time an armed neighbour broke through the door and shot the crocodile, she was heavily bleeding, they took no time to call paramedics and destroying the painting's frame to ruin the portal. However, it would be discovered that her leg was too damaged to save, and was subsequently amputated.
After this attack, her motivation was heavily hurt, she barely did anything aside from patrolling her other art pieces, making sure they didn't try to strike back at her as well. If it wasn't for those close to her, she might have stayed in this state even after she had received a prosthetic just over two months later, which certainly was an increase in motivation, though learning to walk again was a bit weird before she could get back to her passion with newfound bounce to her step... Along with some curious modifications provided by some of her friends.
Personality
Creative, explorative with plenty of her ideas and appreciative with what she's experienced, Olivia's optimistic attitude can be easily shifted around depending on what's going on around her.
Likes
-Furs, basically, the fluffier and softer it is, the more she'll love it.
-Painting, it's not only a fun way to pass the time for her, but also a source of profit.
-Thunder, she loves listening to thunder.
-Boba Tea, likes to drink it, pretty tasty.
Dislikes
-Relatively large lizards, Let's just say past experiences, and leave it at that.
-Forgetting her leg when she wakes up, it happens as she takes it off before she goes to sleep, sometimes she will tiredly think it's still on.
-Overly hot temperatures, she struggles a lot with trying to cool herself down if she gets too hot.
-Fruit cake, in the words of a great scholar "Fruit: Good. Cake: Great. Fruitcake... Nasty Crap."
NOTES:
Headcanons
-Due to status as a Simulaculi, Olivia's bodily fluids to glow a dim blue.
-Her prosthetic leg is a form of living metal with soft pillows of living fabric on her shin and thigh, helping to maintain form and be nice and soft, along with keeping consistent with her bodyshape.
--They are attached with Velcro, and thus can be easily removed for cleaning.
-All painting-related runes and symbols have to dry before their effects take place.
-She likes to try and put runes and symbols onto blankets and clothing, emphasis on 'try', since sewing isn't her forte, her hat is currently her best example of this.
-In the past, Olivia has used her knowledge while facepainting, leading to quite a few interesting parties.
-She does use digital art from time to time, but she prefers traditional.
-Even though she's likely heard it before, she's okay with leg/legless jokes.
-During Olivia's very early art career, other artists would notice the runes and harshly criticize them as cheap tactics for artists. While Olivia hated these criticisms, it compelled her to expand her rune usage and knowledge to an impressive level.
-She sometimes likes to take her prosthetic off while playing with Yard so they can be lost leg buddies.
-The paint she has to use for her runes can be hard to come by... However, she can make it by mixing some of her blood into the paint used.
NSFW Headcanons
-The tattoo on her crotch is an connection rune that she got for a working detached penis for herself, more of a kink for herself, but the occasional hook-up enjoys it as well.
--It needs water to enable the attachment and detachment of it, that way it's not stuck on or off forever.
-While naked, she loves to paint on her partner, or have herself be painted on, either with runes or actually decent pieces of art (The paint is obviously body-safe).
