Mauve Pearl

Mauve Purple Pearl is a contract killer for high ranked gems who have problems that need to be taken care of. They are defective in that they are taller than the average Pearl. I'm not sure completely about their backstory completely yet, so far it's likely that they either had no owner due to being defective (maybe was originally designed to be a warrior gem?) or had an owner that died due to rebels. I do know that they are currently working as a mercenary, doing whatever needs doing for anyone who can pay. Most high ranking gems hate talking to them because of their lowly status as a Pearl, but they always demand the respect of those around them. Mauve isn't well known by the public, only spoken of in whispers for the hardest of tasks. They don't care who it is, they'll shatter any gem for anyone willing to pay. It's likely that they've been hired by a Diamond before, but that's just rumors. They're silent, a hard worker, and get shit done. They tattoo a diamond for each gem they shatter in their light form so it's permanent, or maybe they just reform with it? But I like the first idea better. They also likely became a contract killer around the time of Pink Diamond's 'shattering' and looked up to her at the time, so her 'death' hit them hard.
