Annalise is a siren of the night who uses music and melody to charm and control all those who make the mistake of making her acquaintance. Throughout history, she could be spotted on the arms of textbook's most vile villains, until those men suddenly "suffered a tragedy", "disappeared", or "died of natural causes". She'd always land on her feet of course, with a new victim to carry her through the next decade. Until now, when Al Capone, The Vampiric Prince of Chicago, became the first of her lovers to notice her patterns. Either too in love with her or too afraid of her to kill her, Capone decided to banish Annalise to the deserts of Las Vegas; with a group of rag-tag misfits who too were no longer welcomed in their home city.
Being the petty, petty bitch she is: she hiked up her gown and marched into the city of Las Vegas, ready to claim it for herself. Befriending the Ravnos auto-kleptic, Maks Kovac, and the fearsome Brujah brawler, Jules Mason: the group aided Annalise in toppling the Las Vegas government by force. The corruption of The Camerilla city reminded her too much of Chicago, and every other city she's had the displeasure of visiting. Of course, she was only destroying this new city to send a message to her ex-lover: but if she was going to make the city her own, she would make changes and run it the way she's always imagined. She called her new government "The Magic High Council" and invited not only vampires, but changelings, werewolves, mages, and even humans to sit on the board and discuss how to change and evolve the city.
What once started as an act of petty revenge, evolved into a true passion for political revolution. Now she spends her un-life liberating Camerilla controlled cities and giving power back to magical communities.
