Komiya Korin
 Komiya-san, you are an oasis in the desolate hellscape known as my high school experience.

 In both middle school and high school Komiya has held the role of class representative (委員長, iinchō), assisting the homeroom teacher by collecting surveys, serving as the moderator or notetaker during class meetings, main organizer during class preparations for sports day or the cultural festival and so on. She also participates in activities gathering all class representatives, such as meetings with the disciplinary committee, the beautification council etc. While she might admonish class members for misbehavior, bad grades or not adhering to uniform standards, she never does so to be intentionally mean or condescending and will offer to help them with school work if her schedule allows it.
Student Council / General Affairs Manager
Komiya  is the general affairs manager of the student council at Nekoma High. Before she joined, the council only had four members – president, vice-president, secretary and treasurer. As a 1st-year she more or less started out as their errand girl, delivering documents, putting up pamphlets on the class notice boards, cleaning the supply/resource room, managing contact with the different school clubs etc. By the beginning of her 2nd year though, she was (among other things) basically in charge of club management, acting as a mediator during club disputes, approving/disapproving certain activities, getting permission from the school faculty, assisting with the accounting of year budgets, preparing parental permission forms for training camps etc. She has also been involved with the preparations for and the organization of Nekoma High’s sports day and cultural festival.
Despite initially joining at the behest of her mother, Komiya grows to really care for the different students and clubs at Nekoma High, feeling that her work actually matters and makes an impact, helping the students to do the things they're passionate about. She also kind of the "mom" of the student council, helping strict, diligent "dad" (also president of the disciplinary committee) vice-president Soma keep flirty, popularity-elected slacker president Tōzaki, anxious, I-just-want-to-be-cool know-it-all secretary Yanagi and deadpan, probably-only-doing-this-for-merit walking calculator treasurer Gōda in check.
 Beside her work in the student council, due to her love of ballet she’s taken evening classes at a dance studio without affiliation to Nekoma High several times a week since the age of 8. It also serves as a form of escapism (see Personality). Often sticking out like a sore thumb during casting due to her height, especially among the corps de ballet, she had a good teacher who pegged her early as a soloist instead of always putting her in the back. She wasn't allowed to partner as often though, as her height meant she was heavier which could result in possible back injuries for the boys, which is why she's been practicing partnering with her friend Kōsuke since they were 12. As Kōsuke was still growing and Komiya was taller than him until the middle of high school, she was very strict with her lift-eager partner when it came to lift practice – types of lifts they practiced, how advanced they were and how often – to make sure that he didn't suffer an injury. She has since participated in several ballet performances and concours/competitions. The technical method she's been tutored in is the Vaganova method, also known as the Russian style.
