S T O R Y
Trivia was a normal guy living with his two dads, March and Robin, until he was 17. One mundane day, when he was working in his retail job down in the city, a magical distress signal crashed down a few blocks away, causing magical chaos to flood down all the streets and inhabit the people inside of the radius, including Trivia. But Trivia got a very peculiar power, due to having to struggle to read a difficult patron's thoughts: he got to hear his world being written out by his creators inside of his head. This gave him the ability to hear peoples' thoughts, movements, and information about the world around him, just a moment before they even happened. While this sounded great on the surface, that power came with the downsides that not only did he never get a moment of silence, but that he had to learn the entire reality around him was fake. Trivia didn't deal with this information well at first; it sent him into a multiple years-long depression where he tried to grapple with the fact that the people around him were just characters, and that there was a world that was real, permanently outside of his reach. He finally snapped out of it with the help of his parents' optimistic attitudes, and the decision that reality is still as real as it possibly can be, because reality is just perception, anyway. Now, he lives with his husband Adam, with a good amount of kids, dealing with trial after trial of what the world decides he's going to go through today.
