What this Skepluvi struggles with on a day-to-day basis :
1.--Due to his paralyzed tongue and removed teeth, Mauriel is limited to what he is able to eat. He is fed a mixture of mashed seeds and berries along with plenty of fresh water. He prefers to eat his meals if they are sweetened with berries or raw sugar cubes. On a good note, he continues to have a good appetite and always wants more after each meal! It is good to know that he is not in pain when he is having his meals and enjoys them right till the end.
2.--Due to his declawed back and front feet, Mauriel stumbles around a lot than regular Skepluvi. Thankfully, this problem has been mostly fixed with special leg braces. On a good note, he has been able to build up good muscles in his legs which has helped him not to stumble too much. He can often be found running laps around the pastures with his Scuffle and always being able to lean on one of them if he feels like he is about to fall.
3.--Due to his de-horned tail and back spikes, Mauriel is super sensitive on his lower back and tail. He is very protective and doesn't like being touched there as long as he is awake. He often has to be sedated if anything needed to be preformed on his back and tail. On a good note, Mauriel has become much less sensitive on his back and tail from the rest of his Scuffle as they are all very loving and friendly to him. In a way, it has sort of desensitized his pain and fear of being touched.
