Due to wearing a blindfold for as long as he can remember and his reliance on his magic sight, he has developed a fear of seeing with his actual eyes. He uses magic to sense his surroundings, although he cannot sense color, he can sense things in much finer detail than what eyes could pick up.

His primary weapon is a sword made up of solidified light magic.

A member of the Yxelian clan. A clan renowned for training skilled magic guards. Due to Ecksal extreme curiosity, even though he is skilled at magic, it was decided he was unsuitable for the line of work. As he often sought to learn more and would likely seek information of his client that should not be privy to him.

Although he does actually get hired by a very ostentatious nobleman named Garien who seems unfazed by the Yxelian elders warnings that they are not liable for any mistakes the young mage makes.
