From my highly WIP notes:

•  Mirin wears her hair in a low side ponytail.  Has a weaker ability of communicating with animals. strength in communicating with spirits and magical creatures.  Sumire will help tutor her .
• Mirin’s wand is black with a carved amethyst gemstone handle. light blue swirl patterns are etched along the length, symbolizing the winds/spirits
• Psychic abilities
• Adapt Sakura’s belief: Her "invincible spell," "Everything will surely be all right" ("Zettai daijoubu da yo")
• Mirin’s ability in divination allows her to understand people more. also able to foretell future events.  Sumire notes this as well. Sumire’s handle on time traveling and the dreams have strengthened since the encounter with Azuza and the unicorn. 
• Mirin instantly knew Katrina’s magical abilities stemmed from something that happened to her during her last two incarnations.
