Kkot was named after the mountain he was born on. He lived as a guardian spirit, looking after a small mountain temple and its travelers. Each year, the blooming plum blossoms would attract many visitors from neighboring villages and far-off cities. After spending several decades protecting his shrine, an old woodsman gave him a chance to interact with the physical realm by creating a wooden doll for him to inhabit.
Kkot's body is made from pine trees harvested from his mountain. With the spiritual power absorbed by the wood, he was enable to inhabit the mannequin made for him, and thus he became a demon known as a Porte-Fleur.
Kkot is able to transfer his consciousness across multiple bodies scattered around his temple. In this way, he is able to respond quickly to threats and alarms as he did in his spirit form. This ability is feasible only if two bodies are within a certain distance of each other. Each body looks the same, although its height and clothing may differ.
