Khepri

A treasure hoarder.  Absolutely ADORES anything that sparkles.

He is also Lazarus' Royal Guard.  Khepri uses his large wingspan and hard shell to shield his charge from any harm, and guards his sarcophagus as he sleeps.  In return, Lazarus lets Khepri wallow in riches and jewelry, which Khepri is absolutely captivated by.  He insists on keeping all of Lazarus' jewelry clean and shiny.

Khepri adores Lazarus deeply, believing him to be the once-dead now-arisen form of the Prince he was once tasked with guarding, of an empire and royalty that has long since fallen.  He has sworn to protect the "Prince" in life or in death, and would do anything for him.
