Dizzy

Dizzy spent most of his childhood being definitively average, maybe just above so academically. He’d spend his free time playing video games, hanging out with his casual group of friends, or sometimes even both! It was noticed pretty early on he had attention issues, oftentimes paying more attention to random magazines than actual lessons, but it was never something his younger self picked up on.

If Dizzy had to pick the moment where his entire life seemed to change, it’d be the first day of high school. He was put into the same class as Lucid, and he immediately caught feelings for her, even if he denied it at first. They became friends, and Dizzy even began to learn music to help get his emotions out.

And then things eventually got bad between them I can’t be bothered to write it all out rn but I wanna actually upload this profile lol like and subscribe.

Fresh out of high school, without a single idea of what he was going to do with his life, Dizzy decided to start posting demos of his music onto social media. He didn’t expect them to get any attention, but it at least felt somewhat productive. Eventually they caught attention of another user, Mad, and him and Dizzy instantly hit it off due to their shared interests. The two of them talked for months, even half-joking about starting a band together. But when it turned out that they were only a few hours away from each other, the idea seemed much more like a feasible reality.

Not too long after, Dizzy had arranged to travel down to Mad’s hometown, the beachside city of Ivory Sands, both to hang out and to take a shot at the whole band thing. He quickly realised just how much he enjoyed the city, and after only a week it already felt like home. And, as it turned out, he and Mad meshed really well musically, even opting make the band official!

Following a few more visits, Dizzy came to a decision: he would permanently move to Ivory Sands. He managed to acquire a decent enough apartment and from there he was set. With distance no longer proving an issue, the band truly came together, with Dream soon joining as the official drummer. Together they settled on a name: The Noise Boys.

It was a night like any other, Dizzy had pretty much adjusted to life in Ivory Sands by now, and was sitting at a bar drinking a cold glass of cola whilst his best friend sang drunk karaoke. A sudden movement made his head turn instinctively, and that’s when he caught sight of her.

Somehow, some goddamn how, Lucid was here. In Ivory Sands. In the same bar as him. Right then. No way she’d moved there too, right? Dizzy’s mind raced, but he just sat there starstruck. He didn’t know if she’d noticed him. He didn’t have it in him to say hi. But she was there.

Around a year later, things are still sailing relatively smooth for Dizzy. The band is doing great, with a fill in bassist to boot. He still sees Lucid around every so often, though still hasn’t said anything. And as much as his mind drags him down, he feels comfortable in saying life is good.
