Rugan

Have you ever found something unusual out in the world? Something so odd, you couldn't help but imagine where it might have come from, what sort of places it might have been and things it might have seen and people who once called it their own?

With a bit of exaggeration (and at times outright fairy tales), Rugan has found a living in selling stories - Oh, certainly, the tales come with goods of all sorts, useful and useless, found and bought and... occasionally stolen, though he's not the thief here, he'll assure you, but it's the webs he weaves with sharp tongue and silver thread that truly draws in the crowds and coins.

Don't let his babyface fool you - Rugan's older and rougher around the edges that he looks. An experienced merchant and a former fighter, Rugan has something of a bad habit of getting into trouble at all turns, from dragging stray cats into the guild to simply getting drunk with his rivals in all things mercantile and starting barfights for the sake of entertainment. Still, he doesn't really mean any harm in it... at least, nothing more than a black eye or two.

Despite his silver tongue and skill in manipulating the emotions of others to make a sale, Rugan often struggles with his own feelings - When particularly overwhelmed or drained, he can often be found in the company of no one and nothing but himself and a stiff drink, in stark contrast to the more outgoing, social side he's often seen with at the taverns of Catalena.
