An overall happy mothkitten, Andromeda brightens up others worlds. Ae are very open about aer happiness and, in aer minds, no one could ever go wrong with too much happiness.

This said, ae are terrified of being left alone. Ae can be seen following Myra around all the time, and if she's not in aer line of sight, ae'll cry out.

Summary

A lonely cave-living mothcat went out one night in search of temporary company. What they found was a starstruck--quite literally--mothcat full of pep and glee also looking for something exciting to add to his life. The two, having hit it off pretty well, decided to spend the night together, satisfying both of each other's needs. The situation was never mentioned again. That is, not until a cocoon appeared.

Having believed they couldn't properly take care of mothkittens, let alone their own, the mothcat panicked at the sight of the cocoon. What were they going to do? On top of their lack of confidence in taking care of the mothkitten, they didn't live in a good environment for one. They considered taking the cocoon to the mothcat that they had met, but would they be able to find him? Probably not. In their moment of panic, they thought fast and, without hesitation, picked up the cocoon and headed to the one place they could think to leave it and give the mothkitten inside it a good life; their sister's home.

Myra opened her door to a knock to find no one there. At first, she thought it was a prank from the local mothkittens and was ready to close the door again. That is until she noticed the moon illuminating something sparkling. At second glance, she noticed a small cocoon at her paws, wrapped with black and yellow fur. She looked around to try and find who could've left such a precious thing on her doorstep but to no avail. So Myra picked up the cocoon and was quick to bring it into her home, unsure of what to do if it hatched in her care. She's never taken care of a mothkitten before, and would she be dangerous with her fire-touched wings and tail? She couldn't bear the thought of something happening to the poor thing in her care. She didn't know how much time she would have until the cocoon hatched, so she had to act fast if she were to get it somewhere safe.

But fast was not fast enough. Within days, the cocoon hatched open as Myra was sleeping. The little mothkitten took the opportunity to curl up beside what ae assumed was aer mother and go back to sleep as ae dried off from aer recent hatching. The next morning, Myra woke up to a black and purple mothkitten with glasswings sparkling from the sun's rays. Something about those wings sparked recognition in Myra's eyes: Amalthea. Her missing sibling, who she had been searching for since they disappeared after she opened her eyes. And the purple gradients seemed to give it away. This child was no stranger to Myra--ae were her own blood.

This, of course, meant Myra couldn't return the mothkitten to aer rightful parents. She didn't know where Amalthea was, and who knows who the other parent was. So, with resignation, Myra took it upon herself to care for the child, who already seemed quite attached to her. She named the mothkitten Andromeda as an allusion to her sibling, who was named after a moon. She decided to let the mothkitten choose aer own pronouns over time, calling them by gender-neutral pronouns for the time until they were ready to decide their gender identity. It wasn't long before Andromeda spoke up about aer pronouns, and Myra followed suit with adjusting.

Andromeda fit right into the small household. Ae took a very quick liking to aer mother's baking and became her number one taste tester. Ae and Arty, a mothcat seemed to visit Myra almost too often, get along very well, too. Ae do not know or recognize that Myra is not aer biological mother, and that sits just fine with all three of them. Ae currently enjoy aer life and don't want anything to change.

Myra

Adoptive Mother
The mother that Andromeda recognizes and loves. Ae follow aer mother around and love to help her when she bakes her sweets. Ae're an excellent teste taster, after all. Andromeda is never seen without Myra, and if she isn't nearby, ae tend to cry and become the baby that ae are without her. Ae rely on Myra's company and having her around. Aer life wouldn't be the same without their mom.

Arty

Adoptive Father

A happy-go-lucky guy that always seems to be around aer mom. Andromeda sees Arty as a part of the family, even if it's not official yet. Ae enjoy playing games with Arty and ae're always excited when he comes over. He seems to share their love for sweets.

Amalthea

Biological Parent

Ae believe that Amalthea is aer auncle. Ae don't know much about them, aside from whatever Myra has told aer. Ae are very interested in meeting this mysterious mothcat, though. They seem really cool, even if they're a bit enigmatic. Andromeda seems to look up to Amalthea's character based on what Myra's told of aer, seeing them as kind of a hero.
