Trisha Vardun comes from a long line of proud sea-faring Vardun's, spread across the world as they each seak to sequester a portion of it for themselves. Proud and ambitious to a fault Trisha will always seek to act in her own best interests regardless of the actions she must take to ensure that. It has earned her quiet the reputation on the seas, and among her own family, though many tend to look on her fondly for bringing the family name good fortune. Trisha prefers o let her actions do the talking, but is not unable to hold her own in negotiations.

Trisha rarely considers the feelings of others before she takes action, often earning her cruel nicknames among her peers and sailing crew - deserved of course - but cruel none the less. It is not that she feels nothing for those around her, but that she feels for her own well being in far greater amounts than she does theirs. Not one to coddle and take things slow for others, she gets straight to the point and will often leave others behind in her dust if they cannot keep up. Those that can both stand her own nature and also keep up with her are shown an amount of respect reserved for only those she deems worthy, and they are considered among her most trusted cohorts. While there are a few people in her life she trusts more than others, it is still quite clear that the only person afforded absolute and unyielding trust is herself. No one has been able to break the icy exterior to see if her heart remains as cold as her sleeve, or if she even truly has one.
Background
Born and raised in a coastal city, Trisha learned early on how to live at sea and make waves. Her family was already a well respected name before she took it further in her adult life, and she wanted for little as she grew into a young woman. Her parents doted on her just the right amount - and gave her the cold shoulder just enough to teach her valuable life lessons as well. As she got older she learned to rely only on herself, as her parents intended, and when she came of age she was given her own ship and told "her life was her own, she could do with it as she saw fit". She gathered her own crew, a small ragtag group of individuals at first, and slowly began the arduous journey of making both a name for herself and enough coin to back it up. She cut no corners, gave no quarter, and eventually surpassed even her own parents in terms of reputation. Her own name carries as much wait as senior captains now, and she is damn proud of it.

Trisha Flourishes her weapon and vanishes into the wind, striking a moment later at multiple targets.
Parry
They can't kill what they can't hit - Trisha is able to parry close combat melee strikes with swords or other like weapons.
Barrage
Trisha's crew is not to be forgotten, and in a fight they are the best allies. She commands them to fight at her side and they let loose an all out barrage on the opponent.

Summary
A Captain of an impressive galleon and a few smaller brigantines, Trisha Vardun rules her crew with an iron fist. Though she is may come across as cold hearted and overly ambitious, she is fair to her crew so long as they are loyal and hardworking while in her charge. She tolerates very little buffoonery and even less disloyalty. It is ill-advised to oppose her and her crew on the open sea, and more so in her home port of Siren's Harbor. While her operations are not openly illegal and nefarious, most know that the Vardun's do not keep their dealings entirely above board. The term pirate is thrown around on occassion, usually accompanied by a swift kick or smack to shut the nay sayer up for fear of being overheard.
Living a rich and opulent lifestyle has it's many benefits, and Trisha seeks to partake in all of them when she is not sailing or dealing with merchants and the like. Her lavish lifestyle is one many look up to as a goal or ambition, and it gives her great pride to know she may one day serve as a stepping stone for those below her - as the man above her once did years ago. Her almost harshly realistic outlook on life makes it hard for others to disillusion her and trick her, meaning if they want what she has they will have to meet her in combat - as she intends.

- Trisha has no siblings as her parents were both content with only one child, and not in love enough to care for more.
- Siren's Harbor was once rules by a nasty old pirate, and when Trisha liberated it from him she turned it into a haven for sailors.
- Appearances matter a great deal to Trisha, and she will often become perturbed if she is caught not looking her best.
- Trisha serves on a council of Captains that rule over the eastern sea's, she took over her father's seat when he retired inland after she had proven herself.
