Backstory

The single kit of Briarburn and Flamethroat, Dizzykit was a little different than most. During a long and complicated birth, Dizzykit was deprived of oxygen and as such, had some coordination and balance issues. He was named Dizzykit not to make fun of his flaw, but to embrace it, as his parents felt their son’s unique movement style could someday be advantageous to him and that overcoming it and learning to work with it rather than against it would bring him great success, both as a warrior and as his own independent cat, someday. Nursery life was relatively uneventful, and Dizzykit was a little behind on typical milestones for his age. He began fluently walking about a moon later than the average kit, and it seemed as though he may have to be apprenticed later so he had time to catch up developmentally to his nurserymates. But with persistence on the parts of his parents, the medicine cat, and Dizzykit himself, they devised a physical therapy plan to help Dizzykit get back on track.

He was apprenticed at 6 moons, alongside those he shared the nursery with. In a way, because some of his kithood was spent working on life skills, Dizzypaw was made an apprentice moons before his friends. As the moons went by and Dizzypaw kept up with his therapy he learned how to do things like every other apprentice, though he isn’t a great hunter he can use his condition to his advantage during battle. Sometime during his journey, he learned how to run almost without tripping over his own paws, it’s somehow easier for him to run than to walk. Running, quickly became his favorite activity and it’s all he wants to do. He hopes as he gets older and the more he works on himself soon it’ll seem like there’s nothing wrong with him. Despite being a bit different he never let it get him down and never let the doubters in his life tell him what he can and can’t do. He’s just as determined and just as capable as any other apprentice.
