Ever since he became shogun upon his father's mysterious death, he's been trying his best to fix all of his father's past mistakes and proving himself to Not be like his father. But some things are ultimately in his blood, and only time can tell if his inherited love for Kumoi will ruin his reign.

Warm, empathetic and responsible, it's no doubt that he would make a good ruler. Highly attuned to everyone's needs, Ryuujin is extremely protective of his much younger siblings, going to lengths to keep everyone happy and safe. Decisive and wise, he takes it upon himself to reform the system he's born into, cleaning up the streets littered with crime and unrest. His dedication to making the country a better place makes him an inspiring leader, highly respected by his family and the people alike.

Backstory
Being the only legitimate son of the previous rulers would mean that his inheritence is undisputed right?
Childhood
He enjoyed adventures thoroughly. Weekly excursions with his youngest brother were in place, but he disguised his real intentions under the guise of "needing to protect Shinnosuke". However as he came to age, he eventually had to retire from his adventurous side to learn the ways of being a ruler. Thrown into a new world of leadership, he devoted himself to his studies, occasionally taking a break to watch his other siblings play fondly.
Road to power
The first few years of his reign proved successful and smooth sailing. It was slightly after the initial period that things slowly started to break down. Was it Ryuujin's own fault, or was there something darker under the seams pulling the strings?

The target of his affections. A hidden romantic, Ryuujin has been pining over Kumoi ever since he stepped foot into their castle. Utterly captivated by his charms, Ryuujin admired Kumoi from afar for years until his father's death, and that was when he finally inherited the side piece. Turning a blind eye to all of Kumoi's schemes and suspicious behavior, Ryuujin is inadvertently on a road to his self destruction all for one man.
Ryuujin Seijirou

Seijirou is his trusted right hand man, one of his most esteemed advisors. Seijirou has a great deal of respect for his half brother, their camaraderie transending the fact that they're not full brothers.
Ryuujin Shinnosuke

Being the youngest child, Ryuujin dotes on Shinnosuke, turning a blind eye to all of his shenanigans and his regular trips outside of the castle to "live amongst the civilans". This perhaps stems from their countless adventures together in their shared childhood, but now Ryuujin has duties and responsibilities to tend to and cannot accompany his younger brother anymore.
