A rough and tumble cat, Ronan can be difficult to get along with. Though he retains little of his life before the meadow, one can easily get the sense that he wasn't exactly raised with the proper socialization — He is too blunt for his own good, and is extremely quick to go into defense mode, in which case he tends to act rather aggressive. He is typically in a state of at least mild panic, which only exacerbates the issue, as he believes everybody around him is a potential threat to his own safety. It takes a lot for him to pull down his walls and feel comfortable, especially when he is not much of a people person. He is often an instigator as well, believing that getting others riled up compensates for his own shortcomings, and that putting others at a distance in this way keeps him safer.

That's not to say, however, that Ronan is only made of his numerous flaws. Underneath the skittishness and the biting attitude is a cat that simply wants to belong and be treated well, even if he sabotages that for himself, and when he's able to break down his walls, he's got a silly sense of humor and tries his best to be dependable. He'll stick out his neck for you if he values you, and while he's not entirely selfless, he is willing to take the fall in things if it means those he loves get ahead.
