Fang and Nail: Idiot bounty hunting "brothers"

Meeting many moons ago, Fang and Nail once had different names but hunting for a single target that played with both of them and set them up against eachother backfired, causing them to eventually become best of friends in their defeat.

Both barely managing to survive their "Fox Hunt" and being in bloody tatters, they laughed and dragged eachother trough the pain, forging a bond they'd never get go. Drenched in eachother's blood after the hunt, but still alive, they had decided to become brothers from that point on. Learning from the experience they both progressed as hunters, traveling between the demon realms to capture their targets, without mercy and in the swiftest most efficient manners they could do it.

Sadly, as goes with many accomplished people, arrogance and confidence led to the end of that existance.

Hearing rumors of their prowess, a man told them of a target they would never be able to capture: The self proclaimed demon queen of Oblivion.

Believing there was no mark they could not obtain, both of them set out to try and capture their target.

Not entirely aware of the true nature of the realm in question, regret only arrived the moment they realised Oblivion acted as a prison realm, with only select members of the royal family having the ability to leave the realm as they pleased.

Their problems only began when they had realised their power was nothing special as most residents of the city their arrived in had fighting capabilities equal or even greater then their own.

Driving by their ego's, they still assaulted the queen.

Despite their crushing defeat, they kept throwing themselves at the demoness, who in the end was amused by the two and their looks, deciding to forcibly recruit them into her rank and file.

Training under her and serving as the castle's hunting dogs, Fang and Nail eventually came to realise things could have ended much worse, becoming loyal and effective servants to Ilubria.
