Kennie lives with her best friends, Foster and Ed, in Walnut Creek, CA. They've all been friends since they were in elementary school. She graduated high school in 2017 and attended trade school for two years. When she and Foster both graduated in 2019, they moved to Walnut Creek. Ed, who was on campus at UC Berkeley, moved in with them later that year.
She's an avid reader (and, secretly, fanfiction writer). Her favorite genres are high fantasy (Eddings <3) and realistic fiction. She hates romance unless its integrated into a more interesting story. HATES it. She also enjoys volleyball and stuffed animals.

They've been friends since grade 2 when Foster moved to Sedona and Ed introduced her to Kennie. Foster was Kennie's biggest supporter in high school when she played volleyball. The two of them like to skate and go on road trips together.

They've been friends since kindergarten, when Kennie protected Ed from a bully by biting his tail and refusing to let go until he let up. She was subsequently suspended (despite her incredible heroism! Stupid kindergarten teachers.), but once she returned to school they became best friends.

They met in trade school and immediately bonded over their love of cars and identical senses of dry dark humor. They visit each other often and love to cook for each other.

Fern
Fern was introduced to Loop and Kennie through Foster. Immediately upon seeing him, an anxious dork with floppy hair and chicken legs, they opted to be his adopted aunts. They have tried to teach him how to skateboard on multiple occasions, to no avail. Secretly he's deeply afraid of anything with wheels and prefers staying on his own two feet.

Sage
Kennie and Sage are both gym rats and like to lift together when Sage is in the area. If anyone messes with Foster, they'll immediately hear from both of them (and inevitably lose a tooth or two).
