Original Purpose:  A terriformer - working along with other Lapises to colonize a planet

 Personality:  Lazuli is a very laid back gem. Never taking anything seriously and usually just likes to mess around with the other lapises. In one case, his humor had almost gotten him shattered (not saluting a Diamond in a serious manner) but was saved by another Diamond ( Harmony ) who had found him quite amusing.
