PROFILE
Zev is incredibly reserved and can come off as a bit intimidating at first, as he does all he can to avoid relationships of any kind in an attempt to protect people from himself. But if you take the time to get to know him you'll find that he's just a big emotional teddy bear, who's very starved for affection and just wants to be loved (which I also mean in a platonic sense). He's very self-conscious, and will often hide his prosthetic arm from new people or even if he's just feeling nervous, as he's afraid people will make fun of it as they have in the past, or use it as another excuse to call him a monster.
Although he's very bad at it, he won't hesitate to lie if he believes people are better off not knowing the truth. If you have the patience to allow him to take his time to see he can trust you, and the understanding to not be offended if he doesn't quite yet, he's definitely the sweetest person you''ll ever meet, even if some of his actions hurt more than help. However it's important to keep in mind it'll take a very long time for him to trust you whole-heartedly, as he's been betrayed by those he loved many a time and doesn't exactly want it to happen again.
Having not been around people most of his life, he never really emotionally matured past 6 and it often shows, but he tries really hard to better himself. He has a horrible attention span, is incredibly sensitive, and often misinterprets what people say or do (which more often than not leads him to be upset), but he's also really creative, very in tune with his emotions, and very emotionally intelligent (though he makes mistakes) so his child-like nature is kind of a double-edged sword.

As previously stated, Zev's about the kindest person you'll ever come across. He'd do or give up absolutely anything for those he loves and cares about, even if it doesn't help him out in any way, and even if it hurts him. He loves to make friends and meet new people, and is actually very extroverted, but the fact that he's a werewolf has made him shut out that part of himself.

HABITS
HIDING HIS LEFT ARM
He's pretty ashamed of his prosthetic arm, as he sees it as directly related to him being a "monster" (which isn't entirely wrong, as both things were effects of him being bitten). Knowing this, it's not hard to see why he hides it and doesn't like questions about it. If he's comfortable around whoever's present, he won't really think about it at all, but if he gets nervous or new people show up he'll tuck his arm away in his sleeve and put it behind his back.
HURTING HIMSELF
While not usually voluntary, he hurts himself...constantly. It's mostly thanks to his nightly transformations, but also due to his very impulsive and often wreckless behaivior, and it's definitely best to have some first aid knowledge and supplies on hand if you're around him.
NOT EATING
As ridiculous as his logic is for this, he has a tendency to just stop eating. He has a massive appetite thanks to the amount of energy he expends because of his lycanthropy, not to mention the fact that it happens every night and he's just a big dude in general, but he's afraid that people (especially his boyfriend) will be scared of him and think that "the monster's gonna eat them". So his solution is to starve himself-unfortunately it has the exact opposite effect, and the more hungry he is the more "feral" and "wolfish" he tends to act.
LOTS AND LOTS OF HUGS
Zev's a very touchy person, and will give out hugs any chance he gets. He's very careful about getting permission first though, and he makes sure whoever he's giving a hug to is comfortable with it. If you allow him unlimited hugs though, you're gonna get a heck ton of 'em!

CONVERSATION
WAY OF SPEAKING:
In most situations, Zev is really quiet, and tends to mumble a lot. He talks as little as possible, will try to end conversations quickly, and reveals very little about himself. English isn't his first language (Spanish is), so it's also a tendency of his to repeat adjectives and nouns, as he doesn't trust himself to use different ones correctly. Despite this, he makes a lot of grammatical errors, but nothing too severe, and he understands the basics of the language. Just think Michael Scott from the office (I don't mean everything, just the way he misuses words a lot). If he's comfortable with whoever's around, he's pretty loud and (kind of) talks a lot, and will actually try out new words he's not used to. It's also pretty important to note that again he has the mind of a child, so sometimes he has no filter (it's only for nice things though luckily; he'll just compliment you a ton and probably make you uncomfortable).
