Chargebolt is one of those ponies who just absolutely loves racing, an interest born through a true need for speed. In turn, that need for speed grew from a love of showing off and, of course, all the attention that comes with it. Y'know, one day you get super fast and suddenly you're the coolest in town, and pretty quickly that shit becomes your own personal drug, and before you can even think twice about it, you're suddenly spending all your free time zipping and darting through the skies, barely skimming around clouds and buildings as you try to beat the very speed of light, all while mares and stallions alike sit and fawn over you from far, far below. Now, that's what he'd like to call living the dream. Maybe next time he'll just have to try racing a bolt of lightning, he's sure he can get past before it hits the ground...

If there's anything Chargebolt loves more than racing, it's gotta be a good competition. He's highly competitive, likely the one to start some playful - or perhaps not so playful - trash talking, and will immediately puff right up with pride at the smallest of praises or compliments. He's also got a ton of energy, seemingly never ending, and looks like he's about to start bouncing off the walls if he hasn't had the chance to spend a good chunk of the day racing the clouds. However, he's surely also the type to work himself a bit too hard, just gotta push past that little bit of exhaustion and it'll totally be worth it, y'know?

He's not all bad, of course, if you get him to slow down enough to get past those layers of confidence and showing off. He's quite the fan of some good, friendly banter, and will probably be betting you to race or something along those lines before you know it. He can be a bit of a flirt, and definitely knows his way around when it comes to smooth-talking and getting what he wants.
