Eirlys, my new deer character! I'm not normally into ferals, but I have this huge thing for deer, I want all the deer characters. Not 100% decided on her design, but I was mostly making a design based on a story I thought of. Her colors become desaturated when she is in a state of any negative emotion, a frost forming on her flowers and body. Her elemental alignment is water, though it manifests with ice and snow.

Super long story short in an whole world I'm working on, she was a fawn born to the leader of their herd, her mother. She was born blind, and the rest of the herd, with winter approaching, did not feel that the fawn would survive and that she would hinder their travels. So, despite being born of noble blood and the born successor of the herd, a defiant male demanded that the leader abandon her fawn so they could escape the soon coming winter. Her mother refused, attempting to persuade them, convincing them that she would teach her to survive just as well as the rest of them. A white raven, a guide, took pity on the mother and daughter, and gifted them with carnations and almond blossoms, so that the fawn would always be able to find her mother from the sweet smells. The fawn was as sweet as the smells that she followed, though perhaps a little cowardly and hesitant at first. She learned to steady her feet and walk confidently quickly.
But the herd became antsy when first frost came, and the same male challenged her mother for leadership. Her mother lost the battle and died, having protected her fawn from a dirty blow by the challenger, leaving the blind fawn defenseless. When he turned to kill the young fawn as well, other does in the herd stepped between the two. He knew that with her alive, he would never have true leadership over the herd. But the other does chased her off into the woods, where she blindly stumbled, lost and afraid. She called for her mother all night, waiting for the sweet smell of almond blossoms and carnations to save her.
The raven, Alo, watched her throughout the twilight night, and soon took further pity on her innocent heart. He offered the fawn her new name, not having been named by her mother as it was herd customs for royal bloods to be given their names at a certain age in a certain place that she never got the chance to reach. He offered her the name of Eirlys, a beautiful flower among the darkness. The two bonded, he became her guide and through his eyes, at times she could see the world. With the guidance of her companion, she survived the winter and grew into a young doe, searching for her lost herd.
