Katsumi was orphaned at a young age and forced to fend for herself. She was caught pick pocketing a gang member when she was 11 and her spunk amused him. He took her in and raised her to be ruthless and do whatever it takes to get what she wants. He affectionately called her his little Goblin. Katsumi grew into a strong and independent girl. She is well trained in combat and takes a preference for sharp weapons over guns. She is willing to manipulate and hurt people (sometimes even kill) to achieve her goals. Dispite her rough and intimidating exterior, deep down Katsumi wants to be a normal girl and longs for love and friendship. Though she would never admit it out loud.

Katsumi is infatuated with the gang leader's son, Coal. She is often put on jobs with him and grew up by his side. She is a sort of body guard for him and likes to spend most of her free time with him when he isnt at school. She often hangs on him and sits on him in a way that may suggest they are together. Coal however has his eyes on another girl, Coral, who quickly because Kastumi's target. Katsumi acts nice in front of Coal but if she ever is alone with Coral she finds it impossible to hold her tongue--or her switch blade.
