Niklaus

         Niklaus is a nineteen year old highschool graduate just trying to make his way in life. With no set goals, he tends to be a drifter and makes money by rumaging through scrap yards and working odd jobs to pay his bills. Coming from a high-class family, you'd think he'd be better off, but his mother forced him out onto the streets once his seventeenth birthday came. Wanting to have nothing to do with her son, she handed him a check for twenty thousand dollars and a final goodbye. He's been living alone ever since, often finding himself sharing living quarters with roommates when ever possible to help lessen the burden of living alone at his age. However, roommates tend to come and go as Niklaus isn't exactly what he seems to be. Behind the normal exterior (excluding the purple hair and eyes) lives something inhuman. He is a bajang afterall.

 

         On the day of his birth, Niklaus had perished. Death had come for him before his life had been given a chance to bloom. However, a rather unfortunate turn of events brought him back. As his body lay there, a figure stood, casting a spell to bring about a servant from hell, if that's what you'd like to refer to that place as. A sorcerer was hoping to summon the spirit of a demon into the body of the stillborn so that he might gain a useful ally. Instead, the soul of the human child still resting within the fresh corpse fused with that of the demon's and Niklaus was born. From his birth, his mother had always distanced herself, doting her attentions upon his older brother, Zachary, rather than him. His father hardly ever paid attention to notice the odd treatment. Niklaus was never very close to his father because of it, seeing as his father spent more time at the office and on business trips than he did at home. The only companion he had was his brother, who was aware of the unfair treatment, but hardly ever cared to stop it. Zachary is the only family member he continues to keep in contact after having been thrown out.

Creator's notes: Niklaus's purple hair and eyes are natural in colour. The colour changed to purple when the demon's soul fused with his, seeing as the demon had a shadow soulflame colour that was purple. This interlocks with Viktorious's closed species called "Shadows". I have permission to use them seeing as Niklaus is actually a product of both of us, hwoever I gave him his background. Viktorious and I are good friends irl, so our characters often are linked together in some form or fashion.
